Welcome to Equal Access for Colorado Autism Patients. We are a dedicated coalition of ABA therapy providers from across Colorado, united by a single, critical mission: to ensure every child with autism receives the support and care they need.

Access to timely, evidence-based therapy is life-changing. It provides children with the tools they need to communicate, learn, and thrive, while offering essential support to their families. When care is inaccessible, children face unnecessary barriers, and our communities miss out on their incredible contributions. Our work is to protect and expand this vital access for all.

To achieve this, Equal Access Colorado Autism is a non-partisan Political Action Committee (PAC). We contribute to political candidates, regardless of party affiliation, who demonstrate a clear commitment to supporting access to quality, compassionate care for kids.

Our Priorities

We are focused on building a sustainable, high-quality, and holistic system of autism care in Colorado. Our advocacy is centered on:

• Sustainable Reimbursement: Ensuring fair and reliable reimbursement rates that allow providers to attract and retain highly skilled clinicians and deliver the best possible care.

• Highest Standards of Quality: Championing policies that promote evidence-based practices and uphold the highest clinical and ethical standards for autism services.

• Strengthening the Workforce: Supporting initiatives to grow and develop the autism care workforce, reducing wait times and ensuring expert care is available to all who need it.

• Reducing Barriers to Access: Working to dismantle hurdles that families face, from insurance challenges and provider shortages to a lack of resources in rural and underserved communities.

• Collaboration for Comprehensive Care: Fostering partnerships across the healthcare system to create a seamless network of support for every child.
